A journey of a lifetime
Whales. Berry Picking. Waterfalls. Chill your drinks with glacier ice.
Immerse yourself in the wild beauty of the Inside Passage and South East Alaska with a small group of like minded boaters. Led by Karl Kruger and in partnership with Seattle Yachts, our flotilla allows agility and community. You'll learn about the best hidden anchorages, gain seamanship skills, and fill your freezer with wild caught salmon, halibut, crab and prawns, all while enjoying the comfort and luxury of your own yacht.
Your ground support at Kruger Sea and Seattle Yachts will schedule optional shore excursions and fishing charters. Enjoy walks with local experts in natural sciences (geology, botany, local history), body movement/yoga, and bbq's on the beach with your fellow flotilla participants. Bring your family and friends on your yacht to have a stress-free, once in a lifetime, cruising experience.
Experience Rich Float Plan
We visit ports of call such as Ketchikan, Juneau and Petersburg, as well as tucked away anchorages of Red Bluff Bay, and Tenakee Springs. Glacier Bay National Park, bear viewing at Anan Creek, and fishing to send home salmon, lingcod and halibut. Whales in Fredrick Sound and Hot springs at Baranoff. Guided experiences with local experts on Alaska geology, ethnobotany, tribal elders and foraging workshops. If we do it right, you won't want to come home!
Support and Autonomy
Have the knowledge of an experienced captain, while you retain the privacy of your own yacht, but have opportunities to socialize at anchorages and on shore excursions. The lead captain will set the float plan, provide instruction and cruising information. You will gain knowledge of destination waters, best anchorages, instruction around mooring, anchoring, weather, tides and currents, and other seamanship skills.
